Eurobabble Board Game
Do YOU speak any foreign?
Eurobabble is the ludicrously silly party game of gentle self mockery, stereotyping our European cousins, and whether you speak any foreign or not is almost irrelevant. In fact, the less you understand, the funnier it is.
It's also ridiculously simple:
Can you say in an Italian accent: "We have ways of making you talk"?
What is the answer to: "Quel est le nom du stade national de football anglais?"?
Can you impersonate a children's television presenter in the style of a 
Dutch person?
And which is the German word for swimming trunks - Badehose; Schwimmelpanten; Unterwassertrunken?
Correct answers win country flags - the first player/team to collect all six (Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish) wins.
It's as simple as that. Guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and guaranteed to make any party go with a bang.............or should that be a boem, boum, bum, boma, paf or rätt.
GETTING STARTED
Spin the spinner, select the card.
On an Accent Card, you simply have to read out the sentence in the selected accent. The other players have one guess at which accent you are imitating. Inevitably, it will always sound Welsh!
On an Action Card, you read out what you are miming, then mime it in the selected style. German, French and Italian are perhaps quite easy, Spanish less so, but Dutch and Swedish could be difficult.
Do you ever read cereal boxes or shampoo bottles and try to understand the dozen or so different languages in which the ingredients or instructions are written? Well the Question Card is like that. You state the language selected and read out the question. The answer must be in English.
Finally, the Word Card. You state the language selected and the word in English. You then offer the three options and the other players must find the correct one.
